left stick moving without "stick"

Hello,

I have a one slim controller 1708 model
and it seems like the left analog moving on its own "even when i removed the whole stick"
it's a motherboard issue for sure but i am not sure where to look
i've tested the area and there are no shorts and no big damage to PCB

Try to clean sensor or replace.

I removed the left stick because it is constantly drifting up. I plugged the controller to a tester and it is still showing that it is drifting up. How is that possible? Do i need to clean the pads better? What sensor are you recommending to clean or replace?

Sensor original or recovered by dead board. Oem are very bad

I tried a new joystick as well as a working one from a working controller and still drifting. I checked the voltage on the y axis pot and it is way off. Below are the details of what I got.

Right Stick

0 - 1 dot
1 - 2nd dot
10.89 - 3rd dot


Left Stick
0 - 1st dot
0.22 - 2nd dot
0.34 - 3rd dot

Is there anything else I can replace to get it working or do I need to get a new top motherboard?

Looking at the schematics do you think C22 might be the issue? I'm not familiar with reading how the schematics work.

If the trace connection is bad, where would I solder the jumper wire?

Thanks zis2104 for the help. I followed the trace connection and it ended up being C22 had a bad capacitor. I replaced it from a donor board and it works.
