Can you identify the missing components on this DualSense PCB?
« on: September 15, 2021, 06:53:26 AM »
Hi, I'm trying to fix a PS5 DualSense for a friend. It was supposed to be a simple fix but I've had problem after problem ? kind of a long story but right now I just need to replace a few parts on the PCB that I accidentally ripped off with helping hands.

If you have a DualSense PCB on hand and don't mind measuring and identifying whatever SMCs go here, I'll be able to replace them. Unfortunately the controller is so new there isn't a schematic I can refer to yet. I would really appreciate anybody who can answer this question for me.

It's the top of the board next to the left analog stick module. Thanks in advance.

Larger one is a Resistor, 100k, it's a PullUp for the Reset line.

Smaller one is a Cap, also on the Reset line. The exact value isn't too critical, anything from 1nF to 100nF would be fine.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
