hi there!

So i tried to change the left joystick but  I've never been good at soldering (and desoldering) , so i don't really know what happened , now it looks like this

and this is how the back looks.

Ignoring my lousy job at welding, what else is wrong?

thanks all for your time!

Solder centre leg of the pot to TP64 (I'm sure it's TP64 for the signal for that pot?!).

The soldering needs sorting out aswell..

Get your Iron upto between 345 and 380c put plenty of flux on the pins and pass the iron over them touching the leg and the pads.

Should flow like butter.

Solder a jumper wire from TP103 to the bottom pin on the left side of your pic there, the column of 3 there at the board edge, retest and post back.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
