Painting Wavebird

Hey All!
I'm really new to the modding scene so I don't know much about any of this.
I decided to try to paint my wavebird so I took it apart. My only concern is that after I spray paint it, all the buttons will stick together and I won't be able to be press them down easily. All the buttons come off so I can spray them individually accept for the two triggers on the top. If anyone wants pictures of it I can post some, just let me know. Is there a certain brand of spray paint I should stick to, or a certain technique I should use to avoid making everything stick?

Metal paint,

and itwont stick no matter what paint as long as you give it 24 hours to dry

Ill post some pics when I start the project.

Also has anyone seen any wavebird mods? I looked all over but couldn't find any.

ive made my reciever internal on my gamecube and lots have people have done it for the wii
