Here's my psp.

Sorry if that's too many pics.(Hope it's a better mod than my psp phat.)
For some weird reason, the home menu and vsh menu freezes up a lot and the UMD door doesn't fully close when I have a UMD in it.(It doesn't make that click when I close the UMD door.)
Also, my L trigger is messed up.
Any suggestions while I go search around acidmods for an answer?(In case I can't find it.)

That's sweet looking psp dude! it sounds like the trigger and the home bar isn't seatted right. take the faceplate off and make sure the home bar is connected correctly, the trigger sticky pad also might not be placed right, so i'd check that as well or the trigger supports maybe interfering with it if that hasn't been placed correctly. As for the Umd door, did you replace the little spring back in the white plactic part inside the top of the umd door? if you miss that out it won't shut correctly, but i've heard some people missed it and it works fine.

Hope this helps dude, plus, is this a DX case or a coolmods one?

It's a DX one.(As you can see the logo on my mail packaging in the background.)
Glad this had a better response than my psp phat.
I think it's just the same as the coolmods one based on the pics.
Yeah, my spring thing isn't on there but I think it's just the white thing and the metal thing under the two holes that I need to put on there.
I'll try dissasembling it and reassembling it soon.

I'm re-taking it apart right now.

Edit: the UMD door works now, but I'm still having problems with the VSH menu hanging and the home during the game hanging, and the L trigger going crazy.

It must be a connection problem, but i'm not sure without looking. anyone else have any ideas?

DX is a good place for parts. not sure if they sell the tri er pads but if they do they won't be expensive.

No Problem dude! (Feel free to click the good post next to my name, lol) unfortunatly Those parts are for the PSP Phat and wont work on your slim. i can't say i've seen a home bar replacement yet, but i might have missed it. i'll see what i can find for you.

You could try the auction section here at Acidmods. i'm sure someone will have one for sale.

i've seen a homebar and other ribbon cables for the slim on ebay. pricey though, £10 ~ $20

I keep on forgetting that the slim home bar connects a different way...
I just assumed that it was for slim cause of the flex cables.

I figured out on my psp that my home bar really wasn't messed up.
It was just the L button that messed with it.(Yeah, I still haven't been able to buy the part yet. )
I might try to put LED's on it.

dude, try this for your trigger (i had to do the same for mine) try added some fabric tape to the bottom of the trigger. i found after my psp was modded that the left trigget didn't work very well so i added some F tape to the bottom and now it works a treat. give that a try.
