Ok Guys we now have a New theme called AcidMods 2.0 - If you could please Check it for any bugs etc - play around with the colour changer at the bottom, posting, editing, moderating etc and see if anything doesnt work etc - and also please try it in multiple browsers to see how it looks in different browsers.
I would like to credit Jade(Alundra) From The Crazy Customizers With the Creation Of This Theme and i would like to thank ken for re-making the banner neubit created for acidmods as the origional psd was lost so ken made a new psd making it easyier to edit etc

Just logged in and this was here! I like it! Just wondering, maybe it would be good to have a "view unread replies" button, as that is pretty useful.

well there is unread links for each category on the right or there is this icon (https://www.acidmods.com/images/new.gif) in the top row that will take you to all unread

Well, I mean as in unread replies to the topics that you have posted in.

Nice im liking this new design the only thing i would change is the word new when it appears next to new topics. You should stop it from blinking it gets kinda distracting when reading topic titles.

looks nice!
only thing is the quotes are little dark (standard blue theme)
and the forum isnt as wide as it used to be :( so now i have these ugly gray bars on each side
i'm using Vista and Firefox

ok i can fix the flashining either making it slower or non existent.
the quotes i like so im not changing them
i like the way the forum has a little border eiher side i think personally for me makes it easier to read
and i will fix the unread/read links when i get back
i havnt coppied the moderator admin etc badges over so i will fix it in the next 48/72 hours

Yes dude if you could take away the flashing, than it'd be excellent!
TBH they are the only thing I don't like on the new theme. They're distracting, and highly irritating.

Yeah I logged in and I looked and I was like HOLY CRAP! The blinking was seriously irritating and something about the colours clashed =\ Oh wait, one more thing... The "quick reply" box is white, but the rest of the forum is black/dark blue... And that is sorta hard on the eyes.

If you can change the flashing new thing to be a blue new like on the old theme that would be awesome and easier to see.

It's kind of....I hate it.
For starters, it's so out of the ordinary.
The flashing is HIGHLY annoying.
The colors are quite weird.
Did I mention that when you change colors, IT DOESN'T STAY?!?!?!?
I can change to red, and then when I re-open AM, it's defaulted back to blue. That's stupid.
I'm switching to the SMF default... feel free to shoot me for it.

I think I'm gonna have to agree. After using the forums for a bit longer, my eyes are starting to feel strained due to the colour choices... Too much contrast.

Hmm, I just switched to red. I'll see if it stays.
I think because the red stands out more than blue it's easier on the eyes.
For me at least.

Did the same thing as kicks. Reverted back to the blue theme.

well your able to have your own opinion and i wont shoot you if you dont like it or if you change thats why there are 10 themes to choose from using the quick theme changer at the bottom of every page.
i have fixed the flashing
i like it because its not the usual sort of layout and colour scheme.
i will look into the colours not staying.
plus me and the designer wanted to put it on a live forum to see how it plays out and to find bugs. which is what we are doing here - it isnt finalised yet.
also this is one of 2 themes we are having custom made for the site - this one and another one which will be much more like the old style theme that we had before the upgrade, but she has another project she needs to do before that one
we also need to work on getting the banner to change along with the rest of the colour and only half of each colour box links so that needs to be sorted.

you can actually make the change permanent by going to
Profile > Look & Layout > change theme > find theme > drop down box to the right selects colour

i agree with some of the others, the theme gets kind of strenuous on the eyes after reading for awhile..
the ONLY thing i want back is the "Replies to Posts" button!!!!!!!!! :faint: :faint:

lol i set it for you - when i go on my other computer i will make a video to show how you change the themes colour permanently as if you had trouble im sure there will be others.
p.s. the final version is now up with banners changeing with the colour as well and the buttons at the bottom are now fully linked instead of only half the square linking and also the text box and quotes have been changed
also if you notice any bugs can you please screenshot them and then post up a screen with a description of the problem and what oyu were doing at the time

ok as requested by some i have asked jade to put up the unread posts and unread replies - so i hope it makes some of you more happy and also i hope your ok with the positioning

i have been playing with the colors its fun just wish it would keep them when you log out weather then when you come back you have to change it again to what you had it but other then that it looks good :hifive:
