Well i soldered some wires to the 5v and ground and then i put it back together and now it doesnt turn on any help/tips

that is not much to go on, maybe if you told us where you soldered, and is it possible the little switch on the power board didn't get back into alignment with the switch on the casing (sorry had to ask) other than that maybe your powerboard to motherboard connections?

dont worry nothing wrong with your psp, the problem is that somewhere there is a connection between the 5V and ground and because of this the psp cant turn on, happened to me few times already when i made a connection between the 5V point and the golden contact Ground point under it, open it up and find that little ***** :winker:

yeah, probably ground point. dont put solder connecting them, but dont worry about puting a little extra on the right of the 5v point, cause nothing there...

u sure u didn't short sumfing when soldering? are you good at soldering?

man i am telling you you have a connection there, desolder the leds and get rid of ALL the solder and you will see, if not then i really want to buy your psp
