Title: original xbox question because the xbox section was removed?

in the process of making a slim xbox original. wondering if i could put in a laptop disc drive, assuming i only wanted to use it to play movies. (the games will be on the hard drive)

im not sure ive stopped doning my slim due to someone robbed my my mod chip for that xbox lol

i think you can take the drive out and keep the hdd in it and use it over a network to put game vid ect onto you xbox as most did anyway
