Title: Going to try to replace the housing and change the power LED on a DS Phat.

I have a DS Phat with a broken hinge and I wanna try and pretty it up a bit. I've never done any modding (or soldering) but hopefully everything goes well. I'm ordering the housing from DX and found a tutorial on it, and I see where the LEDs are located that I'm trying to swap https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,31797.0.html (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,31797.0.html) but I've no idea what kind of LEDs those are or where to buy them. I plan to swap the green one for a blue or white one. Any tips/advice? Thanks for reading and for any help on the mod!

After more research I'm guessing it's a 0603 LED? SMD?.. whatever that means. And is there a difference between "super bright" and standard?
