OMG looks amazing theres one part where it looks like your in a helicopter.... i want this game alot and i think it is the one that is set in nam' did you notice those guys in the straw hats and stuff and its black ops so maybe its a conspiracy type thing

did you guys miss the treyrch/activision bit? they fired infinity ward, as infinitys contract stated that they were to remain in control of the cod name. right before royalty payments were made, activision fired IW and now it appears they are back in bed with treyrch. coincedince?? I dont think so

Oh yeah and you guys talking about the Infinity Ward, lawsuit almost everyone from infinity ward is going to a company THEY (Infinity Ward) made called somthing Respawn (i can't remember the first part Google?) so they might be making more games sooo..... lookout for the new company i think EA is going to buy them out so.. they will have Battlefield games AND!!! COD-type games i can't wait.
P.S. im buying some stocks in EA. :P

see running around with a flippin mini gun is realistic. its just gonna ruin the game for me... same with a tork bow with explosive tips. horay for 5 year olds and pwning... if u want me inn be in fallout new vegas or playing my personal fav fps bad company 2

you realize mini gun will be exclusive to the wager match where everyone has the same guns, as for the cross bow it takes lots of skill to use.
The problem with cod games is after cod 5 the ideas were becoming worn out, the community wanted change and that's what infinity ward gave them. Obviously everyone had different ideas on how the game should be changed and when they produced mw2 alot of people were outraged. You need to stop comparing each title to cod 4, judge the games by themselves since sequels rarely surpass ones ridiculously high expectations. personally I wouldn't give up on the cod series yet, I think they still have a few tricks up their sleeves. Defiantly start up the cod Fridays again (laggy as they were).
Btw I have BF2, don't get me wrong.. great game, just the 30fps and apparent clunky movement doesn't really work for me though.

played the beta all day today. its pretty cool. i like it better than mw2

i didnt compare it to cod4. thats what our group of firends use to play. i bought mw2 and tbh it was a good game but i felt more or less that it was the other players that ruiend it for me.
what i liked about bad comp 2 was that it had bullet lag, drop, and the weather variables. im not saying wind im sayin it hotter climates your bullet will travel further and in winter it does not... im not 100% on it doing the heat and cold bullet lag/drop/distance effect.
also 30fps is that teh base fps teh game runs at...? and trust me teh controls for that game are not clunky. try operation flashpoint dragon rising. or better yet arma 2 (very dificult game if you are not good with teh keyboard)

fair points, yea 30fps is what console bc2 runs at apposed to the standard 60fps of most first person games. Lets not get caught up in a game argument, gaming is all up to opinion, I mean one of my favorite games is ao2 which most people hate. You are right Cod multi player is largely defined by the audience who play, the problem seems to be the wide range it attracts no doubt causing undesirable conflicts and differences in players ideas of how to play the game. It is hard for game developers to create balance which accommodates all users of skill, while having enough variety which keeps the game exiting.
Meh fair enough rent Black ops out, or play it at a mates house. I really Treyarch doesn't let us down now :)

i have to give Treyarch they did a damn good job with teh WWII gun sounds in codwaw. and i liked the zombie mode.
now dont get me wrong i will def rent it for the story. but thats about it

CoD fridays? i want in :P Bump but who cares, got a 2 hour playtime and not one noobtube death, love the game, with only playing it a little the flaws arn't so apparent guess we'll have to wait and find out , cant get on till late tonight :( Gamertag is- frenulem BTW
