CES News
Razer teased a new gaming tablet concept, called Project Fiona.

Now, it's not designed to compete with other current tablets on market, like iPad. Instead, is a PC gaming dedicated tablet powered by a Intel Core i7 processor. This system will run PC games natively, skipping the need for porting and optimization. There weren't any specifications regarding the Operating System, but it loooks like it could run on a custom Windows version.

Sure, this tablet will be a touchscreen device, but how will PC games work? Analog sticks, kids. Razer has designed their own user interface for Fiona, featuring dual analog sticks and accelerometers. Razer says that games are expected to take advantage of the gamepad controls, touchscreen and accelerometer. Out of the box, any game that supports gamepads will work on the tablet. Force feedback support and Dolby 7.1 surround sound is also planned.
The Tablet will ship Q4 2012 and they say it will be priced at under $1,000. :fear:

if its that powerful, and has any kind of a decent battery life it would be an awesome replacement for a laptop if you dont feel like getting a tablet

To be honest I'd probably buy one of these over an iPad or kindle if it had a nice smooth OS. I'd love to have the portability of a laptop and the feel of a controller all in one.

Anyone know what the screen size and resolution and stuff

I would find it pretty big to carry around if I had one
maybe if they could make the controls fold back then it might be better

Amazing nevertheless

Hopefully, the controllers become detachable.. would be really stupid if otherwise.

Smooth OS!?! This thing is supposed to run Windows 8. Meaning you can play ANY PC game on it... Definitely portable!

I'll definitely be getting one if they make a small design change lol.
