Some additional q/a
When and where can I buy it?
Sometime around April/May 2008 via UK, USA, Germany and Turkey.
How much will it cost?
Around £199 (inc VAT), $330, Euro212 (Ex.VAT).
What is the device designed for?
It is designed as an ultra portable open source computer with gaming controls.
Why such a radical design?
The design is actually a simple clamshell which gives maximum protection and maximum control layout, it is around the same size as a DS.
Thats right folks its basically a gamer extreme laptop thats insanely portable and sexy, imo basically no need to mod it unless a) a clear shell gets released/we start producing jewels b) battery life is terrible c) we add it to the gamer accessability program d) you want rumble
but you know im gonna buy one anyway, PSX and SNES emulation strait out of the box, cos squidge and other talented gp2x coders were on the beta team
gah april/may = pandora date = pandora = want, therefore pandora date = want
BRING IT ON

Im right with you. Ill be seeing what the fanboys say, the critics, and the everyday users.

That thing is awesome, but I have to admit it looks pretty bad
-
i looked into the specs and online...and now i dont like it anymore
to damm small

I think it may be a good system, if it is well supported, however the D-pad, buttons and joysticks have been placed in bad positions, just to include a keyboard. Time will tell though. What I do know is that I am fed up with the GP2x forum going on about a system they haven't seen, I guess they have nothing else to talk about...

Yes, I agree. The Buttons are out of wack, but I doubt they would design a Gaming Console that is extremely hard to use.

Holy :censored: look at the rings around the analogs, they change to the color on the screen, all hail Pandora.
Oh yeah it's also running PSX games perfectly already, on a simple prototype.
