yes I did plan on puting in some Leds

and what do you mean the tinting would be easy on the eyes?

Post by: kink192 on November 01, 2007, 05:09:45 PM: with either doing white leds or blue ones the leds are very bright and they hurt my eyes if looking at them and if you have the clear blue it decreases the amount of light let through but still lets you see the light and gives an ambient lighting effect.

It doesn't peel or chip off because I put a couple coats of varnish on it it's been on there for about a year and a half without any damage....I'll post again when I get done painting Gannon.

lol thanks... i thought i had broken it at one point when the LCD's flashed on and off real quick when i tried to turn on my ds... turned out the top LCD's ribbon wasnt in the whole way so i fixed it and get it to work :D :D .. you got any suggestions of LED positions on my case?

hehehe that was something i added in at the last second.... i got the emblem free as a pin badge with a magazine here, i just filed down the pin sanded off excess material and made it into the DS jewel type thing.

craker, Ds lites dont have firmwares, they can be flashed, but theres no firmware mod purpose

MarioParty, the firm i "Desolder" the original "slot memory of firmware" (It say like this? sorry but in english i cant say that) and replace with another custom memory of sansumg T340 ;) and rewriting a new firm with more codes...

Mod Purpose? Sure, Backup, programming hombrebrew from DS directly, Overclocking... and more ;)

Its a little bit hard to do, because need have knowledge of soldering Motherboard units without broke the unit and Knowledge of programming ;)

Unfortunately it doesn't work now. The power LED lights up for two seconds but then the unit turns off immediately. Neither screen lights up while the LED is on. Oh well. Good thing I bought that DS lite used for cheap. I have to admit the clear case looks fantastic.

Did you try re-fitting the WiFi board? I think that makes it not power on, since it contains the BIOS too.

isnt that caused by the top screen not being connected completely? try reinserting the ribbon cable

Red LED Lighting on bottom
DSTT adaptor 2gb micro, (with bit of card)
Mini B charge port
Green felt pads for finger tips (grip)

Accesseries:

Charger for spare battery with mini B port, an with Mini B connector as
used for Backup power for Ds (wen turns to red, both can charge thru Pc)

Large touch pad Slot 2 (12cm x 9cm, 2 x Ds lite lids)

3 Stylus pens

Many spares

Loving everythnig about it, its a good little machine, i like the online game play, WiFi going thru usb as access point. Downloaded many, many games an tried most of um. Homebrew apps are cool, esspecially the JoyDS app, control mouse and environment Cool . Wireless searching are good tools, an i wuld like to know more in the hacking part. its all good stuff.

using the DSTT menu file system = Moonshell, customisable an the like, Plays music very well, videos play like a dream wen converted right. Jpeg pictures show ok, an im sure theres many more u can do with it. If theres any add ons for it gizz a reply.
