Title: Help with Mac os x scratched disks

 Hey all I need a answer to a question. Are you able to take a scratched os x install disk and put it in our windows computer an try to recover the files to burn a new cd???

with the cd being scratched ur obv gunna have problems reading the info on it correctly u can try getting one of them scratch repair kits

Umm If your lucky you could create an image of the disc and then burn it to another. If your having problems reading the disc what i do is put toothpaste on the cracks and wipe off the excess. Failing that the osx discs are cheap enough.

take it to your nearest game shop most have cd repairers for if they buy scratched discs i do it all the time cost me 1$ each cd

goto apple and see if they can do anything
