Title: Hacking the WII

i wanna hack my wii, can somebody get me a step by step tutorial on how to do this from scratch please, im new to hacking wii's, ive hacked psp's before but not wii's. links to programs i need to download would be greatly appreciated. and, if something goes wrong will it damage my wii and if something does go wrong can i fix it. thanks in advance

Also, what is the best modchip out there. and do i absolutely need a modchip to hack the wii
