Hello,

I have a very strange problem. I have a PS5 controller equipped with a BDM-010 motherboard. The issue is that despite the battery is 100% charged, the MCU sees that the battery is completely discharged. I tried via Bluetooth and cable, same result.

There is a voltage divider consisting of 150K and 100K resistors at the positive terminal of the battery connector. I measure 1.664V at the output of this voltage divider with a 4.183V battery voltage. I noticed that when I turn on the controller, this 1.664V drops to around 0.6V.

I took out another properly functioning controller and measured it as well. Surprisingly, even after turning it on, I still measured 1.664V at the output of the voltage divider, so the voltage didn't drop after powering on.

What do you think could be the problem? Could the MCU be at fault? Everything else works, it just doesn't read the battery level correctly.

There are 4 solder joints under the R3 button, 2 are 3.2v, the other 2 are the R3 button line. Just pick 2 that are opposite corners from each other, like the top right and the bottom left ones, and there you go, duplicate R3.

Hi everyone, I bought a refurbished PS4 controller from GameStop and after a while it stopped working. I checked and in addition to the broken flat, a capacitor is shorted and two resistors are burnt.

I searched the forum and found only the wiring diagram of the JDM-055. I would need the wiring diagram of the JDM-030 to see which capacitor I should use and which resistors.
Does anyone know where I can find the pattern or does anyone already have one?

Hello everyone, I added 2 back button to my ps4 controller with a flex remapper.

The flex does not have the R3 option, so I would like to know if there is a way to connect the rear button to the controller PCB somewhere to get the R3 input.

I tried some point where the R3 button is connected on the pcb but it doesn't work. 

if someone maybe can show me with an image would be lovely.
