Title: Finally doing my DS Lite mod. Have a few questions.
Post by: viperfan91 on March 26, 2013, 06:36:47 PM
After many years I finally got my clear case and LEDs for my DS and have an idea, but am not sure how to accomplish it.

I would like to wire the DS with blue LEDs for when it's on, which there are plenty of tutorials for, and orange for when it's charging. My question is for the orange portion of the mod. How do I switch LEDs depending on charging mode? On the PSP I can just wire directly to the green and orange LED points and it is already programed to switch, but the DS leaves the green running LED on when it's charging.

Any ideas?

Also, I would like the orange LEDs to breathe (fade in and out). Are the Pulse VU modules still available?

Any and all help appreciated!  :yess:

For the charge I recommend you wire it to the charge port. When you plug it in , it will light up. For breathing effect Here  (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,33689.0.html)

Thanks for the response! Great thread you've pointed me to. I'll definitely consider that. As for the charging lights. Wiring them to the charging point is great but I would like the blue LEDs to turn off when it's charging. Guess I forgot to say that in the post. I'm trying to avoid having a blue and orange mash of light.

Dont play and charge at  the same time..... Lol.  Other then that mayne put a switch on the blues to be able to cut them off while charging?

PS.  I think the mackine gun would make the sparrow weigh more then 6 ounces.... :)
