Title: Class action lawsuit filed against Sony.
Post by: Spriche on May 06, 2010, 12:00:21 AM
The latest update for the PS3(v3.21) was not exactly the most popular update Sony has put out considering it removed the feature to install another OS onto the system. The "security" update appears  so unpopular in fact, that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Sony for the removal a feature that was part of the price of  the initial system and was a part of it's initial marketing when people bought it. According to an interview with IGN,  Rebecca Coll, who represents the law firm filing the suit, details what a jilted PS3 owner has to do to join in on the sue Sony fun!

Oh fiddlesticks! Well, the interview I have in the link details what the lawsuit process is going to be like,so I might as well leave it be if that's okay. I'm gonna have to do more checking on here next time!

I'm no law buff or anything, but they do seem to have a pretty good case against the Empire....I mean Sony.

I think the class-action lawsuit is stupid. The only thing that will happen if they do win against Sony (I think the case will be thrown out) is that Ms. Coll will make a bunch of money, everyone one else will make a little bit each, and Sony will do nothing.

Contrary to popular American belief, suing the hell out of somebody or some company is not the way to affect change.
