Voila. I need to mount it on my umd door and it will be done. Granted it may not be worth R&D prestige like Rex's little project..... But hey, It's mine. Many thanks go out to Fufa for the technical assistance and to Budgray for giving me moral support!

Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that the bluetooth is being powered off the 5v on the mobo :)

This is a mod I have been wanting to do for some time now. I think It is definitely worthy of a tut. The headphones are VERY good quality especially considering you can pick them up for $30 on ebay. I personally would leave the headphones unmodded and listen to them regularly, but the receiver module is also pretty cool.

Definitely a very practical mod though... Combine that with an internal cam and your psp would be Hooked up :tup:

I've got it pseudo mounted on my door now, and I've worked out a few bugs. Wasnt getting stereo sound, just mono but thats fixed now. Does anyone think I should actually make a tut for this?

Yea, unfortunately there is no way to short out that plug, unless i wanted to rip it off and add a different plug.... had it hooked up to my speaker wires for a while, but decided to go back to wiring straight to the board.

now, i might have some tips for improving:

this thing has a built in battery, without the battery the thing is pretty small (about 4-5 cm ~ 2 inches) and it uses 3.6v
bought one from ebay for $9

2. A switch, the wifi-switch perhaps, to swap from the regular built-in -speakers and bluetooth

I often use that Bluetooth dongle on my psp with my Sony BT-21g bluetooth headset, i'm so tired of having cables around me :faint:

Contrary to what others have said, I am still alive and am still working on completing my mods.... got a kid coming and have been modding the poo outta my eee pc. Will come back to the psp scene at some point.... oh and btw, why the heck is my R&D status still gone? someone was supposed to fix that.

Anyway, would it? I take it that it won't? Like if I wanted to sync up another Bluetooth device to the receiver, wouldn't work right?
