Title: Customized audio greeting card?
Post by: sniper on December 06, 2007, 06:36:08 PM
Hey all,

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but figured where better to get modding advice.

Anyway, with Christmas around the corner, I was wondering if it would be possible to "customize" a greeting card with audio.  You know the cards that you open up and it starts playing a song or something.  Is it possible to hook that up to a computer or something and re-program it?  Maybe I could just build a audio thing and put it in a regular card?  Any ideas?

Thanks.

Indeed, I don't see why it can't be done, I mean, they must've programmed the chip or whatever in the first place right?  It seems the hallmark ones are better than the dollar store ones, in that they play like actual songs with lyrics and all.  So I guess it can hold more data and the speaker is better?
