I'm new here and i have just read alot of threads, hoping to get some info on how to install a dual nub on the psp.
After reading for a while i still don't know a thing.
Can someone please explain me what a Razor or a2d board is? And the differences, advantages, disadvantages, on how does it works...
And is the Razor or Razor 2 actually available?
i know i'm kind of whining, but if someone could explain it, i would be very thankful. :beg:

well the a2d board [analog to digital] was the first dual nub release from acidmods. the razor 2 is the newest release, and it is completely internal, compared to the a2d which sticks out of the faceplate. So if your looking for a dual nub get the razor 2

Thnx for your reply.
Isn't the Razor 2 still in production? If not where can you order it?
And how do you install it?

check the auction thread or check cybers topic to see if he has any(dont think he does atm tho)

Does anyone know a tutorial where it explains how to install the razor 2 in your psp?

That's the problem. I don't know how to install it. :sadno:

drill a hole in the faceplate big enuff for the nub and cut away a little of the plastic on the nub and from inside the faceplate. its not that hard really but it sux if you mess up ur faceplate cuz then you gotta wait to get another 1.

That part i can understand, but how about the Razor 2 board?
When you have the actual board what do you need then?
With this i mean the part where you collect the parts that you need
and assembly it and then connecting it to the psp. I need to know that part
The part to put it under the faceplate, you told me, so any further assistance would be welcome.

So after making the nub and making a hole big enough for the nub in the faceplate,
will it fit under the faceplate without having to remove parts like AC power or stuff?

Has anyone tried this before? http://www.elotrolado.net/hilo_Mi-dual-analog-mod_655966?4713%201e76e84b27c698766cc2%20f2eed1ae& (http://www.elotrolado.net/hilo_Mi-dual-analog-mod_655966?4713%201e76e84b27c698766cc2%20f2eed1ae&)

Maybe a dumb question, but to stick the 2nd analog nub to the faceplate, you must use hot glue, right?
And for the cables for the 2nd nub, do you need to glue it to the powerboard?
Is that even allowed, to use glue with electronics?

Anyone?
