Ok, so ive managed to get the cursed pc back up and running, just one problem now, the graphics card fan no longer spins. All the connections are in, all the power adapters and the card is not broke. Its repeatdly over heating, but then the driver downclocks it saving the card from turning into toast. The card is a 6800 ultra.
Heres my specs
450w PSU
1Gz Athlon CPU overclocked to 2.2Gz
1.25GB RAM
6800 Ultra Ofcourse
200GB HDD
Please Help, it wont let me watch any videos or play any games :(

The fan may be broken or the spots for power may have gone bad, to test the spots get a voltage tester and see if there is power. If there is power then try hooking 5 volts up to the fan and see if it spins. If it dont its junk. It may also just be stuck or dirty so clean it and try spinning it.

If all else fails, get a slot fan and that should fix the overheating

ok, after alot of looking, ive found a small cable coming out the fan, now, ive seen this on all graphics cards with fans except they all connect their fan to the actual graphics card.
On this gpu, ive looked and looked and cannot find a place where the fan connector goes, so if it doesnt go onto the graphics card, it must go onto the motherboard. But where?
Also, its that cable where it has 4 holes, its not a molex, much smaller, its in a square about 1 cm square.

hmm.... just hook it up to 5 volts and it should work

Just test it with a Multimeter until you find a + and -

I tried, the prongs on a multimeter are to big to fit in the holes, ill upload some pictures of the connection

Get like a 3v Battery and put a wire to each end and test it until it spins.
