Title: I might mod a DSL, what do I need?

I'm thinking of getting a Ghost Shell, getting a jewel on the top, putting one LED in each Face Button, the Shoulder Buttons, and changing the power leds. Is it possible to put one LED in each side the D Pad? What do I need to complete this mod?

Edit: I want to make the L Button and D Pad sound reactive to the left speaker, and the R Button and the Face Buttons reactive to the right speaker.

Edit 2: Would it be possible to put leds in the Select and Start Buttons and the Power Switch, connected to the Face and R button LEDs, and an LED in the Volume Switch, connected to the D Pad and L button.

ok, you can get leds in start and select
I dont think anybody has done sound reactive to one speaker
and yes you can put an led in each dpad direction

Ehh, mate, bout the sound reactive mod. It would probably half-work. Why am I saying this? Since you want to do it so that different parts of the DS react to 2 different speakers, then your games have to be set in stereo. That ain't a problem. Now if we are talking music, like if you bought a certain item that allows you to play music, or even video, would be a problem. Since most songs are usually not set to react to both speakers (I.E- Start playing flute in left, and violn in right, or hearing wind from one side to the other) the speakers would just be playing the same sounds and would make the Chip work twice as hard making both of them react using different codes to make it react to the same thing.

For your LEDs in buttons, that would be cool, espescially the Power LEDs in the start/select button, that would make it unique (hope you said that  :drunk:)

sound reactive has been done to one speaker, see edhels ds lite that i modded for him :P
