Title: Sig of the week contest!
Post by: Kenshinffx on December 21, 2007, 01:58:14 PM: idea cooked up by Syko and I and a few others.. Let's have fun with it!

The theme is NEXT GEN VIDEO GAME.Examples: Gears of War,Halo 3,Grand Theft Auto 4,Metal Gear Solid 4 etc.
1.Sig size must be 389x125
2.For the most part the sig must contain the theme.
3.You have one week to complete your entry.
4.Voting is allowed by anyone,you can't vote for yourself.
5.Make sure to expand your theme,not a bunch of Halo sigs.
6.Person with the most votes wins.
7.Post your entries here.
8.Must include the "Live in your World" Slogan

Am I allow to enter this? (A modified version of my last sig). I mean , it is next gen videogame based and is up to the requirements.

im pretty sure you can only post your final entry here and there are no changes, at least thats how i used to play back at graphicaddics

umm well this is it im going out on a limb here though, it isnt the actual size i think it is a little tall, but i dont care if i win or not, just made something for people to look at :) also if anybody wants this i can put your name in it. i don't play this game so if anyone wants it tell me

Its 389x125 with some dead space transparency :victory:, i had to use the PNG-24 format (sorry IE users) to get the full effect out of the leaking water, the sig is obviously based on the Xbox-360 game Bioshock.

The main frame is a horizontally stretch shape of the Bioshock logo. On the background we have the first layer which is a distorted picture that used to read "Rapture", Then we got some cracks and pattern overlays with a little bit of blood splatters etc. In the center is the feared enemy from the game itself "Big Daddy", i tried to make it look like he is punching out of the sig, also notice the vague motion blur behind him. On top of all i added the rapture house silhouettes

The ghostly face of the "Little Sister" puts some enfisis on the "live in your world" more or less in a sublime-ish way, thats my personal feeling, Live and stay in your "Rapture" world, but mod in ours, and its like her spirit is holding Big Daddy from coming out of that sig "their world" and kicking all of your asses

Then comes the water, since the whole city from the game is submerged... blah blah... is there a reason why i wrote all that, probably not lol
