Title: I modded my router!
Post by: Skullmaster on December 27, 2007, 11:18:45 PM: so a couple days ago I went out and bought a netgear wireless router. Its all white with like an acrylic trim. I'll post pics tommarow when I get my camera charged. But anyhow, it has little vent holes all the way around on top so I thought it would be cool if blue light was glowing out of em. So I went and put in a blue led. It turns out that the light coming out is a whiteish-blue, it looks kinda freeky but its cool.... rember pics tommarow!

The green lights were allready there, I did the blue....

Here's a pic of the gaming chair I got for christmas, 2 speakers in the headrest, and 1 huge subwoofer in the seat!

Post by: l0rdnic0 on December 29, 2007, 11:01:58 AM: OK here you go. this is my WGT634U. I you have one of these routers check out roofnet. This little router runs a form of busybox luinux and has a USB port. Netgear lists this as a storage router but I have this streaming audio and other stuff..

Software mods aside

CPU FAN
Serial Port (RJ11 jack on the side)
External Antenna Mod
Venting Holes
