Title: Wii humming and making noise
Post by: drobes34 on January 04, 2008, 03:50:48 PM: ya..i've got a wii that i bought last christmas and it is now making this humming clacking sort of noise everytime there is a game in. does anyone have any ideas about to what this is and what to do about it? :tup: advice very much apriciated

Anyway I don't know much bout the Wii, but it sounds like there's some foreign or even non foreign part hitting something in there that's making the noise. If you don't care for warranty, I suggest opening the Wii and seeing if theres anything inside. Before that, grab it and shake it a few times, see if you think theres something in there making the noise that aint part of the Wii.

but your best bet as stated above to to rip that sucker apart and see what the problem is firsthand
