Title: PSP wallpaper problem
Post by: Thorax on January 08, 2008, 04:53:28 PM
I'm trying to set a wallpaper on my psp, and it works. But when I turn off my PSP, it just goes back to the waves. Then I tried setting it and going to theme to make sure it was set on wallpaper. It said no wallpaper was set when I did have a wallpaper set.

it sounds like a flash1 problem.

if your on 3.71 m33 go to recovery menu, then advanced and click reformat flash 1

if your on anything else go to the same place and start up flash 1 and on your computer delete everything in flash 1

hope that works

Before this happened I was trying to run pluggins, but when I turned it on, it would show the date and time, then shut off. I reformated the flash 1 and it still didn't work, so I disabled pluggins. Then it would turn on, but wallpapers won't work, which is where I am now.

well the fact it doesnt remember backgrounds is because you have a corruption in your flash 1, thats where the background is saved

no you dont have to re install anything, just go to the Recovery menu, scroll down to advanced and select format flash 1.

If I delete it all, won't it stop working?

I did that and it's still not doing anything different.

i have a similar problem currently, i apply my background, and go to launch a game, and instead of the gameboot, my background image stays up, but i still here the sounds from the gameboot

im running 3.03 oe-c, and i have it flashed in such a way that i can load my gameboots to my memstick root folder and use it there.

could this be a similar fix?
