Whats up acidmodders? Hey, I just pick up a used psp phat from e-bay with one noticable problem. The psp powers on but no sound and no picture(black screen). The other thing I noticed is, when ever you power on and after a few seconds you power off, the power remains on. Are this symptoms of a bricked psp or perhaps a bad mobo. Please advised. EDIT: I read and understood, that using a pandora baterry on a bricked psp would eventually unbricked it. Well, based on this theory, I used a pandora battery and the results remain quite the same. The only difference is that whenever I installed the pandora battery, the unit power itself on and all of the three led's turn on at the same time. Is this normal or do I have a mobo problem or something else wrong?

your pandora problem sounds like you havent made the memorystick right, i think if you just put the files on without formating the memstick and not puting msipl.bin on the right way you get that problem

Thats true U need MMS when U use Pandora's Battery and it must work.

Just incase you don't understand, MMS = Magic Memory Stick

Well, the memory stick is a sony, magicgate memory stick PRODuo, 1gb. Supposesly the memory stick has already the neccessary files to do its job. Anyway, I used the psp for parts for another psp that I have been working on.

man U need special formated MS with special software on it try check my tutorial about creating one without PSP :)

you have to format the mem stick properl before adding files. BTW all three leds should turn on when you use a pandora's.

I, usually had the pandora battery and the memory stick made out by someone who normally does this on the side for extra cash. He went on explaining that all his batteries and memory sticks are purchased new before they can be modded out. Right now, the psp is all in pieces so as soon I make time for myself, I'll double check the problem out. Thanks...
