Title: Crysis video card

Would this card be able to play Crysis? This time it's for my cousin.

Post by: MattZani on January 14, 2008, 12:19:38 PM: im 99% sure that it wouldnt run Crysis at anywhere near a good res, that Graphics card is horrible, its for video encoding, hence the HD Prefix.

Post by: pinoyballa on January 15, 2008, 02:01:46 PM: That card is garbage. Trust me don't get it, if you want something decent get an Nvidia 8600, or an Nvidia 8800 if you can afford it, because they can get pretty expensive. Just don't get ATI lol, i personally find there products to be a hassle.

Post by: phenomenal on January 26, 2008, 01:51:38 AM: if you want a cheap one, 8600GT can run crysis at medium, my brother has a 8600M GT, which is worse than the 8600GT but he can still run crysis at medium

Post by: pinoyballa on January 28, 2008, 06:27:12 PM: At this point in time, you should save up your money and wait for the NVIDIA 9 series cards to be released. But if you can't try an 8600 GT it should run Crysis ok, but it will run everything else nicely, and it's pretty affordable too.
