Is this correct for led mod
red = led
blue = posative kynar wire
yellow = negative kynar wire
green = powerboard
black = dip switch
-
heres a better diagram

if you follow that everything should work
-
u might need a resistor on the positive wire depends on your leds
-
damn ive lost it now (grr) is there a tut for a dip switch led mod?
it wasnt your fault lol
i have 0603 blue leds

tut?
and what are those red flag things?
-
those arrows are the leds point is negative
-
can you state that a bit more clear please?
are the red flag things the leds?
-
oh so what are the triangle things?
-
oh so what are the triangle things?
those show you the polarity of the led, so which end is positive and negative
-
the longer foot is + in real life,
on the paper the arrow points to -
-
that means the triangle thingys are the leds right?
And do i need a resistor for blue leds (0603)?
-
No, you don't need a resistor for blue leds.
-
No, you don't need a resistor for blue leds.
I would rather get one, it makes the LEDs live longer, also there is no danger of burning out, also if he glues them into something like the triggers, the LEDs will melt the glue away leaving a big mess.
-
Ok thanks FuFa but what resistor do i need?

10ohm :yess: im also going to use blue leds and i will try without the resistor
-
Im gonna use one. i get em for free so why not.
Has anybody actually managed to do this plugin yet. i advise you change the name of the plugin to 'lftv_plugin.prx' .
This may work :)
Do not forget this goes in flash0 NOT seplugins. lol
-
What does led's have to do with prx's?
that last post blew it of for me... :S

^that never happened to me and mine have been connected for over 2 months now........ so you really don't as long as you make sure your wires don't cross...
-
will 15ohms be ok to use for a resistor?

The melting glue only happens IF they would burn out, also they don't burn out when the wires cross, you just short your PSP and make it turn off.

is a 10 ohm resistor standard for a psp led circut with 0603's?

It actually depends on the leds and the way you are gonna wire them. Use a resistor calculator.
