Title: Need help. Random PSP
Post by: Rowley on January 15, 2008, 01:50:44 PM
I have been employed by one of my friend to fix his psp. It was on 3.52 M33 and whenever you powered it on the background waves would sow up and then nothing happened. So I thought I needed to Recover the psp back to firmware 1.5 but it still has the same problem. I havn't got a clue what is wrong with it and I'm out of ideas. Can anybody help me?

a possibity is that psp has broken keys, download keycleaner and you will have to use it through pandora.

That's what mine did. Disable any pluggins. If it keeps doing it after that, try reformating the flash1

ahh yes i didnt think of that, if you had it on 3.71 m33 then went to 3.52 then it will have bad plugins that will cause the psp to freaze, to see if this is the problem simply take out the memory stick

Sorted now. Problem was a weird one, couldn't get it wroking at all, so I tried one last time but this time i left the UMD drive open and it worked. So it must be a problem with the drive. It's back on M33 3.80 so its all good. Thanks guys.
