(with stalk battery) charge your psp before you go to bed to 100%. turn it completely off (holding switch up for 5 seconds till the power led shuts). let it sit till you wake up in the morning and check your battery %.
i did this just to test because i saw someone had this battery draining problem. i just want to confirm it. but when i woke up (8 hour sleep) my % went to 75. kinda wack.
test it tonight. post tomorrow. let psp slim users know?
-
i can do it with my phat if you want us to check any psp?
if not then ill problly end up doing it anyways

erm, being a beginner, usually doesnt have anything to do with your battery draining, its problly something sony forgot to do to the psp that makes the power drain even when its off

i lost about 3% in about 4 hours jus it on the side i have my psp on charge at night anyway and i always carry a spare battery just incase
i have leds in my psp to make it a little clearer. i dont think its that big a problem although everyone will get very varied results cos battries are all different one of my psps on full charge will say 5 hours and another will say 6:30 both phats with stock batterys it could be you have a short somewhere that is keeping the power going through ur psp
-
hmm interesting, i tried it with my deep red, didnt lose any (6 hours). my friend phat lost 1 percent(6 hours too). if its off, i dont think it waste any power except for clock. wouldnt it?
-
hmm. idk i think some batterys are messed up either that or its how you start when you firs tget it the batterys memory or somethin
-
wow i thought by now someone would of gotten the right answer besides me but since no one has il tell ya. ok basically a recharable battery is like a bucket, with a hole in the bottom.... as you charge it, it also drains.. BUT at a very slow rate. so when its not in use that "hole" is still draining the "water" in the battery. so in short ALL recharable batterys except NI-MH will drain when not in use.. thats just the way it is... :dntknw:
