Stumbled on this forum recently when looking for others. Hi! :hifive:

I am 41 years old, and a "Portablizer Extrodinaire" on the BenHeck forum, I am into modding and hacking of games consoles (particular interest in Nintendo) and other (similar) projects. Most of my work is unique and to my own design and using different methods of construction to the norm.

To date I have completed projects for:

* GBA with a Transverter, PSone screen, custom controls. (BigBoy Advance)
* Combined GBA and N64 system, PSone screen, custom controls, home-made dual polarity buttons, custom case. (Nintendo 64 Advance)
* Mod to resurrect a dead Ipaq PDA, 7x original battery life, better controls, custom case. (Ipaq PDA)
* Converted a dead MP3 player only running on batteries to mains powered, always on system with bigger speakers.

I also did some minor stuff on the GP2x forum before I got experienced!

I have also developed different methods of case making, button making, case finishing; and other innovative workings.

Current project:

* GP2x with TV out, PSone screen, custom buttons, custom case, rotatable screen (this is rather unique), large batteries. (GP2x project)

Next projects:

* Make my own "handy hands" soldering gadget for free.
* N64p in a very slim case, possibly whole cart inside side of case.

After this I have some other ideas, large and side-line projects.

Not much unfortunately on this forum for me as I would like, pity: there is a pretty inactive GP2x forum here, if there were a section for N64 and similar console and handheld systems I would be able to offer of assistance to others and share my knowledge with.

No, I don't run a forum, I am just a regular member on BenHeck who loves modding, nothing more; although I am a very active member there.
