Title: Wifi Problem

my m8s psp is having a problem with wifi wenever he tries to use it it says connecting then says connection error (80410A0B) any ideas as to wot this may be

its something to do with the CPU Settings, return it to stock, and then do a system restore.

we have tried everything software wise reflashing setting back to 1.50, OFW, CFW the lot even setting everything to default

I think it is actually hardware related. I replaced my wifi mobo and it fixed the problem although you need to use a MAC address changer to change the WiFi MAC to the MoBo MAC. They need to match.

This fixed it but just today I realised it was doing it again I think it could be a loose connection.

I was right it was just if the faceplate screw was too tight I was getting the error. I loosened the screw and now it is fine.

that goes beyond me why a screw can affect the wifi so i dont even want to know why even if there is a valid reason

I had this problem when i was on the sony firmware all the way up to 2.8 i think any way i put cfw on and put a theme but i never backed up my flash so i wiped out the flash0 and reformatted the flash 1 them reinstalled using Pandora put a theme on and the error i noticed dissapered. so some step along the way fixed a problem i wasn't even trying to fix. Figures. Just like the screw it could be the dumbest thing giving you the trouble.

okay ive changed the wifi board fixed the mac address to match it will now work in infastucture mode but wen he tries to use adhoc on any game it still doesnt work properly
