Title: HELP!!!

help me!!! my psp slim screw (the bottom one) has somehow broke or smashed or whatever (the place where the screwdriver goto has become a round shape instead of a phillip). what should i do!!! now i can't open the psp no more!!! WUAAA!!! (i just realized the thing a few minutes ago as i was trying to open it...)

you must of worn out the screw, there are other methods such as drilling the head screw with a drill to completely demolish the head screw and nothing is left, or maybe screw extractors?

what's a screw extractor? soldering iron... i guess that would work, but just in case, i need a backup faceplate :p :winker:

you can get a screw extracter from sears. it fits in a drill or socket driver and looks like a short drill bit.

i did the same thing, what i did to get the screw out was first i took a VERY sharp razor knife aand cut around the screw and took of the plastic surounding the screw, then i took needle nose plyers and basically twisted it off with that.  :yess:

i just took a dremel and cut one long line in the screw and then used a flat head to get it out. trust me it works

good idea, wish i had thought of that b4 i took out a chunk of the trimming on the bottom of my slim..... (not to mention its a darth vader slim)
