Title: camera in itouch
Post by: Canadajames on January 31, 2008, 03:50:33 PM: just wondering if anyone knows of being able to add any camera to the itouch perhaps even the one which is on the iphone buy like a replacement one for iphone and put in itouch.

Post by: PspKicks316 on February 01, 2008, 12:18:10 PM: I was about to do this, I had everything planned out, but I talked to a techy kid at school who's seen the insides of both the itouch and iphone and he said the itouch doesn't have the exact same components as the iphone, so no, it wouldn't work.

But all it would be is wiring the points from the camera onto the same exact point on the itouch on each component as on the iphone.

AND IF YOU DID MAGICALLY GET IT TO WORK!!
Then all you need is the original iPhone camera app, and just use that and your done, THAT'S why you need the exact components!
