ok i got the black wii casing, got that all done, works fine, but i also did my wii remote, and now the pointer won't work, my other wii remote works fine in the same spot, the buttons all work, but i get no signal. did i break it??!! :cry2:
-
check the sensor bar and make sure it's on, did you get a replacement wiimote case? did you use the black thing that goes in front of the wiimote that came with it? if you did switch it with the original one and that should fix it.
-
sensor bar is on, yes it was a replacement case and yes i replaced it with the new black thing that goes in the front,t everything is normally, but it's not working, i don't get it
i don't know what to :censored: do!!!
-
replace the black thing with the original one
-
i tried that already AAAAHHH!!!! :fear:
-
try going back to the original white case to see if it works idk aha
-
take it apart again and put it back together that's always worked for me :hifive:
-
it's been apart like 6 times already, and i tried going back to the white case, still nothing, every button, the speaker, the motion sensing, everything works, EXCEPT the pointer. :fear: :fear:
-
Are you sure everything is connected right, its probably something that got messed up with the IR. If you could post some pics if something looks out of the ordinary that would be good.

Its strange, i have few problems with wiimotes but always is for buttons and mods, but it so strange the pointer doesnt work. Also you don't used any soldering iron ?¿?¿?¿
P.D. The mods we made are too dangerous for your console, don't try at home if you don't have knowledge ;)

this was so easy though, tri wing screw driver, take out the 4 screws in the back, pry it open, i do it gently, but it always pops open really fast no matter how slow i do it.
then take out the inards, and but them all in the black casing, and but the screws back in,

quick question, did you put on your sensor bar correctly?
-
oh my gosh do you guys read my posts, the sensor bar is fine, my toehr wiimote works ..the pointer is my only problem
-
oops sry i didn't see that one, umm make sure all the ir pins are on the pcb for the wiimote. If thats not the case then your probably just going to have to buy a new wiimote
-
what is a infrared pin?
-
Like all the pins that hold the infared light in place
-
all the soldering points on the underside of it are still there, if that's what you mean, i don't know how they would have come undone
-
You think you can send any pics mate?
-
i already did... mate.
