ok, i am taking my psp apart and when i get to the part were you take the ac charger deal off the whole white square piece on the motherboard came off, am i screwed or is there something i can do

Just solder it back on.

is it ok to solder it back on, just solder the metal contacts back to the ones on the motherboard?

yea it should be fine if you are worried there is the us charging mod

i'm planning on doing the usb charger mod, but all of the pics showed that piece, can i just solder the wire to the usb deal and to the contact on the mother board or do i need that white peice there

I think the USB charge mod will work without the white piece.
