Does anyone know if this remote works with sony's mic?

It's made by a company called Eforcity. It was considerable cheaper than it's Sony counterpart at $4.

AFAIK the Mic doesnt need the headset.

AFAIK it does, but plix dun hit if I'm plain wrong D:

Also it's just a remote...in black.. made by another company. I mean it still does the same thing as before.
