its like i think the 4th gen ipod nano im not sure what gen :S but it can play videos :P and i dont kno how to find out what firmware it is?

there is no 4th gen
top is 3rd, so it depends on if its black or white with a silver back (1st), colored and counded sides(2nd) or shorter with a bigger screen, color front and silver back (3rd)
in the ipod menu to go settings>about and it will tell you
though nano's arent that easily hackable, only with ipodwizard really
nothing fancy like ipod touch

ok i got setting about and theres three bits of menu
and one is my memory with like songs videos etc. then how much songs videos podcasts stc. i have. then it is Serial Number i dont think that is it =l then model im not sure about that =l t hen versoin i think that is it it says 1.0 pc?

same here, i havent seen anthing for the 2g nano either, ive seen all kinds of stuff for the vid's (linux,rockbox,etc) but nothing
