i have a TA-086 and i am going to buy a new psp mobo mine fried and want to know if i put a TA-??? on it
-
i think you could put a TA-082 or TA-086.
-
yes any mobo works with any other piece of hardware in the psp no matter what revision it is, but on wifi cards you have to change the mac address to match the one stored in the mobo flash or change the one in the mobo flash either way works with the right software
-
so wat ur saying is that i can combine any mobo with any psp
just have to flash it
also how do i that
-
you can combine any motherboard with any other part of a psp without changing anything
but i do know that the memory stick/wifi board has a mac address on it that is compared with one that is stored in the motherboards flash, i dont know which one gets changed, the one in the flash or the one in the wifi as i have never had to do it before but tools have been made to let people do this im sure a quick search of the web will find you either the program or the information that you need to get the program, i will have a quick look for you now
EDIT:
well that was comical i searched google for
psp mac address fixer
and the top result was
LINK (http://www.noobz.eu/joomla/news/wifi-mac-address-fixer.html)
there you go read up on that
-
I have a wifi from a 86 and a 82 motherboard, and haven't done anything with the mac address and I haven't had any issues
-
some dont produce problems and it auto updates when you install a newer firmware i think as it is stored in the flash memory of the mother board so when you update it just makes the wifi board the same but you cant do that if you are on the highest firmware at that time and this was also released a while ago, but it still works and is a lot quicker

I had 3.51 at the time and that stayed that way for several weeks
