u might've used too high ohm resistors from the speaker, you do know you can do this mod without an lm386 just hook em str8 up to the speakers and it works much betteryes i know and i already did it but i found it too dim and i didnt like that the leds stayed on all the time so now i want the leds flashing just when there is sound, so i could use a stronger resistor to get that effect?

oh right yes i know what your talking about,i only did this on the xbox but you should catch my drift,on the lm386 on the top left and top right pins put a small capacitor (about 15uf methinks) between them so this will set a gain or vu,this basically means that the led only turns on when there is soundthx for the tip bro, ill definitely try it
you did something WRONGwhat????
you did something WRONGwhy do u constantly say stupid stuff thats totally irrelevant?
Use an LM741CN IC Op Amp with a Capacitor. Idea courtesy of PvP_LostKnight.lol dude i sed that way up there,it wasnt pvp's idea that iea came along way before ppl were puttin op amps in psp's
use higher quality amp... nuf said :yess:lm386 is the best out there for its purpose,it also uses less power tan the rest but still does a better job,no he doesnt need a higher quality one he just needs to set up his gain right..
