You can get em way cheaper than that if you know where to look, I would use those numbers as absolute maximum prices

you do realise they are the exact same thing and there is absolutely no difference in quality
digital signals are all 0's and 1's, meaning as long as the cable is not cut/frayed, they are the same

Post by: MattZani on February 22, 2008, 03:27:52 AM: Reaper, HDMI Cables have a signature core, which defines the amount of data that can be put through them at once, the Cheap HDMI Cables topped out at around 1Gb/s up and back, which is 2Gb in normal use.

The more expensive HDMI Cables can do 5Gb/s up and down, so 10Gb in normal use.

The more bandwidth the cable has the less compressed the picture is, and the sharper the image is.

My cable came free with my PS3 and its great. Normally £15 i think. Its not anything special. Also, gold connectors are a waste of time.
