you can also use these 2 points instead of the speaker ones ;)

i used them because the right speaker connector broke off
(use the speaker - and speaker + circles ;)

(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi10.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fa133%2FRobleufkens%2FRightSpeaker.png&hash=4fe8ad8af018043fba9abdccb059754eff873083)

[hop] if you are not ok with that i added those 2 points to the image just say it and i'll get the image away from the internet and delete it

he could do that but if he doesn't have enough experience with soldering or not a sharp enough tip he might damage the mod aside from the fact the speakers are more noob friendly with its bigger blob of solder

oh, im ok at soldering, but just incase, does anyone have a pic of teh speaker and point out the + and - terminals? and will those tow points give me the same reaction as wiring it to the speaker, or will it be less noticable?

Found two points for the left speakers too, if anyone got a camera that is capable to take pictures of the left speaker plug I could draw it in.

But I tested it with the buzzer on my multimeter.
How can it be wrong?

Tested on a TA-81, but I'm using a TA-79 right now, so this is, again, hella useful to know :3 thank you

hey, i was looking at the mobo picture and then i looked at my mobo, and i noticed that my mobo doesnt have any of the stuff in between the right speaker connector and the little green rectangles to the left of it. (refer to the pic). i was trying to post a pic of my mobo, but i dont know how to transfer it from ms paint to here. i have a mobo ta-082.

does this mean i just have to hook them up directly to the speaker?
Title: Re: sound mod speaker terminals

its easier to just hook them up to speaker.

i know, but i wanna know why my mobo doesnt have that stuff, is it just cause its is a different model or sumthin?

Title: Re: sound mod speaker terminals
Post by: psp339 on February 23, 2008, 07:27:33 PM
yes, its because u have different mobo. each model of mobo is different in some ways.
