well i need help figuring out what kind of led this is

it has 3 leads instead of the normal 2

its a 2 colored led.. i have the same one on my monitor, its green and orange..

umm i think middle is ground, and sides are positive. each side is a color

strange, ive only ever seen one color come from it.

you would see orange or red if there was a fault

try giving power to the pins, use like 3volts, and see which colors light up

I put 9v through smds for fun. Old broken PSP powerboards provide me with entertainment for hours on end. Yes... that is how sad I am.
