Title: weird wifi board

ok i was taking apart my psp today (first time ive taken this one apart) and where i got down to the wifi board i noticed that it doesnt look normal like it has all these extra bits then a normal so i opened a psp i already opened and the wifi boards are totally different for starterd there this huge blue thing hanging of the side anyone kno what this is?

You probably have different types of motherboardsw in the different psps.  The one with the blue thing sticking out comes with TA-079 Motherboards.

Will this effect anything with the way the PSP goes on wifi? My friend's PSP's wifi doesn't work on any game except SOCOM FTB 2.

i dont think so it worked normal to me but i ave to resolder the antenna back on =\
