Title: Confused with jailbreaken ipods need help.

ok i got a ipod touch and i think its jailbreak like i got the installer and installed all of that stuff i got smb prefs etc. ive also hot firmware 1.1.1 (some code here) yeh im not sure coz i cant set wallpapers and stuff like if try to set a wallpaper and nuthing happens???? and when i do smb prefs and try do a theme it doesnt work.... if ive done something wrong plz tell me :help: :help:

im not to sure on that one - usually if there is something wrong that i dint know the answer to i just suggest to restore and jailbreak again. is there something in summberboard prefrences that is preventing the wallpaper

To get your wallpaper go into SMBprefs and the first setting under choose theme, Use Theme Wallpaper, set that to OFF. Now your wallpapers will show up.
For themes, are you sure our themes are in private/var/root/Library/Summerboard/Themes? If not, put them there and try.

Sorry, check off Use Wallpaper under advanced settings in SMBprefs.

That's strange...try reinstalling SummerBoard...if not, just get a better and higher version :P

I think if you look through the list of apps there is like "soft updates" that upgrade you
I'd you can restore, update, ziphone, then your re jailbroken

Foosh, he's got the program.That means he's jailbroken!! And no don't really restore. Update through iTunes to 1.1.3/4 whichever you want. Then download ZiPhone (http://www.ziphone.org) and run that and click JailBreak and you'll be fine.

make sure your on a custom theme and not default, I wasn't able to so it till I
Was on a custom one then do what kicks said
