Title: Wireless lan card

I've got a wireless lan card (USB) and the connection is very bad. so i wanted to know if it's possible to connect an antenna to it. it's a Sweex LW058

Post by: pinoyballa on March 10, 2008, 04:49:57 PM: How far away are you from your router first of all, is there any interference ex. constantly being on a phone. You should probably get an internal Wireless card. They work better.

Post by: pinoyballa on March 11, 2008, 12:49:07 PM: Thats probably why your getting such a poor connection with a USB dongle. Get an internal card and you should see improvement. Example, I have an internal wireless card and I am on the second floor of my house and the router is on the first floor and I have an excellent connection even through all the walls and such.

i fish off a neighbors house a few doors down and off another one some were i dont know. plus my own.
and the usb picks up the neighbors homes better then my own router and i am in a one story. My internet has never worked right an any house i lived in.
