Title: Can't connect via USB
Post by: ultimaarashi on March 14, 2008, 06:22:27 PM
Yea, for some reason my PSP won't connect to any computer via USB cable. The PSP freezes, then shuts down. I don't know what started it - It just started happening a bit after I took it apart. Although, it worked several times before this happened, yet after the disembowlment.

Only thing I changed was that I removed the speakers (They don't work anyways - The sound card is blown), and I don't think that would have caused it.
Any ideas?

the usb may cause a charge to be sent into the card or something may be run through it im not sure but it sounds like it must be hardware since if never heard of a software prob like this.

Done that. i think there's a bit of a misunderstanding: The sound card on the PSP is bused, not in my computer.
Nothing wrong with the computer, this happens with all 4 of mine.
