First thing I did?
Overclocked the Q6600 quad from 2.4 to 2.96 stable, will be going higher if the temps stay nice and low!

is that the new spider board? I was looking into a spider board on tiger direct were you buy it running 2.4 but most people overclock the processor that comes with it to 3.2 and it is still running cool. It is the quad core right?

I will, but it consumes me, hooked it up to my PS3, 360, Laptop, Network and Pretty much everything else in my room.
I made a joke to a friend that it would start talking to me, 20 minutes later, it did... NO LIE...

Gotta mess around with the FSB and Mem clocks a little more, might also have to increase the NB and SB Voltages, which I don't really want to do because it will increase the heat.  Right now I just have 3x 120 MM fans on it...

My old laptop got 25-30 FPS running medium settings in UT2k4
I just ran 4 copies of it on my new comp and they all had >100 FPS on ultra high everything...
also, just unrarred a 12gb file in 10 minutes, took my old computer all night to pack it in the first place...

Whats your load temps at for the processor? Also get liquid cooling. I overclocked my processor by 80% and its load temp is only 35 degrees celcius
